On December 22, the Chinese National Circus, one of the world’s most renowned acrobatic companies, invites you to an exceptional show. “ZENsation – China’s Grandmasters of Balance” is part of the 2026/2027 European tour and is coming to Moldova.

Who is coming?

Chinese acrobats have always embodied the unity of body, mind and soul. A Chinese handstand artist doesn’t just perform a handstand; they are the handstand. Hardly any major circus festival of the last four decades has passed without acrobats from China taking a top-three place. With nearly 1,000 acrobatic academies across the country, China has set new standards of wonder, generation after generation.

A “Best of Show” of world acrobatics

With this programme, the Chinese National Circus pays tribute to the most celebrated award-winning acts of recent decades. The most beautiful, spectacular and moving acrobatic acts are reimagined by young talents from China’s finest circus schools, in a collage drawn from 2,000 years of circus history.

The creative force behind the show

The production is presented by Raoul Schoregge, artistic director of the Chinese National Circus in Europe for over 20 years. He delivers an acrobatic masterpiece: well-staged, without unnecessary embellishment, going back to the roots of pure balancing art. It is poetic, philosophical and physically brilliant.

Expect the vibrant colours of the costumes, the mystical stillness of concentration and the mental strength of artists who turn the impossible into reality.

A new beginning and a homecoming: rooted in tradition, yet looking to the future. Emotional, poetic and more impressive than ever before! Don’t miss it!
